Detailed Walk Description
Starting at Rhosneigr:
- Begin your walk in the village of Rhosneigr. There is parking available near the beach and in the village center. Head towards the main beach, Traeth Crigyll.
- From the beach, follow the Anglesey Coastal Path signs heading south. The path runs along the coastline, offering beautiful views of the sea and surrounding landscape.
Walking Along the Beach and Coastal Path:
- The initial part of the walk takes you along sandy beaches and rocky shorelines. Depending on the tide, you may need to navigate some rocky outcrops.
- As you walk, you’ll pass by a variety of coastal habitats, including dunes and salt marshes, which are rich in birdlife and other wildlife.
Passing Porth Nobla and Porth Tyn Tywyn:
- Continue along the coastal path past Porth Nobla and Porth Tyn Tywyn. These small beaches are quieter and offer excellent spots for a rest or a picnic.
- The path here can be sandy and may require some effort to walk through, especially if the sand is dry and loose.
Towards Aberffraw:

Aberffraw to St. Cwyfan's Church (Church in the Sea):

- After about 2 miles, you will reach St. Cwyfan's Church, also known as the Church in the Sea. The church is situated on Cribinau, a small tidal island accessible by a causeway at low tide.

- St. Cwyfan's Church is a picturesque and tranquil spot, offering panoramic views of the sea and coastline. It dates back to the 12th century and has a rich history.
